Vintage Navajo Native American Sterling Silver Kingman Turquoise Shadowbox Ring
This listing is for a vintage Navajo ring handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise. Handcrafted in the later-mid century by an unidentified Navajo Artist, this unique vintage ring features a single turquoise stone at the center of a scalloped shadowbox surrounded by a star like shaped edge. The stone portrays bold blue color hues and dark natural matrixes running throughout. The stone sits securely in its bezel while resting over a thick bed of oxidized silver. The back of the ring has a sturdy double fused split shank in good round shape. There is no signature or sterling stamp but, testing proves the silver to be sterling. A well crafted Navajo piece in beautiful condition. Enjoy this Navajo ring before handing it down to a loved one in the future. Size – The ring sits between a 6.5 and 6.75 on a ring mandrel. Weight – 8 Grams. Ring Face Measurements – The ring face measures 1-5/16″ tall by just under 1″ wide. Stone Measurements – The stone measures about 3/8″ long by 1/4″ wide. Signed by Artist – NO. Incredible Handmade Navajo Sterling Silver Spiderweb Turquoise Pendant Necklace Great Gift Idea! Huge 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ Pendant Gorgeous Turquoise Stone. Unique 24 Ball Bead Chain With Hook Clasp. Please view all 12 photos. The turquoise stone in this pendant is absolutely stunning! Gorgeous shade of vibrant blue with a beautiful spiderweb matrix in a large freeform shape. The workmanship and artistry of this pendant is perfect and lets the beauty of this unique turquoise stone take center stage. The turquoise is beautifully polished and secure in its setting and there are no flaws I can find, obviously very well taken care of and rarely worn. Shadowbox setting with sawtooth bezel and hand etched accents. Hook closure, unique double bead and bar chain is strung the traditional way on sturdy foxtail. Necklace is a nice substantial weight at approximately 85 grams. This necklace has not been polished and has a light patina or tarnish as both the pendant and beaded necklace are sterling silver. The last 4 photos were taken in natural sunlight and made the color look a bit washed out. This would make an amazing gift! I just have way too much jewelry in my collection and I need to downsize. Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise Sterling silver shadowbox choker necklace, unmarked but most likely Navajo. This classic necklace showcases rich blue stones set in serrated bezels in the center of the 5 shadowbox pendants, the center pendant being a double/tandem pendant. The stamped overlay that makes the shadowbox was beautifully hand-cut on the inside. The center pendant is approximately 3″ tall by 13/16″ wide. The other pendants are roughly 1 1/2″ tall by 3/4″.
