Native American Indian turquoise Sterling silver squash blossom bead necklace, unmarked. This gorgeous piece showcases a 7-stone naja and a bead necklace with a total of 10 blossoms. The rich blue stones are set in smooth bezels wrapped in twisted wire and framed by a stamped silver border. The naja is 3 1/8″ tall by 3 3/8″ wide, and the stones are about the same size, roughly 3/4 tall by 5/8 wide. The 1 7/8 tall blossoms have slightly larger stones. The 1/14″ bench bead necklace is 24 5/8″ long from hook to eye. The beads have moderate patina kept as-is. This piece weighs 186.5 grams!! Very nice stones and silver work. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art. Additional notes: Two stones have very fine hairlines, virtually unnoticeable, and remain secure in their bezels. Up for sale is a Vintage Old Pawn Navajo STERLING Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace. This necklace is made of sterling silver (stamped sterling on the clasp) as well as turquoise stone. The necklace has a nice patina and measures 13 top to bottom with the actual circumference of the necklace at 23 approx. VTG 70s sterling silver turquoise Navajo peyote bird squash blossom necklaace

Ancient symbol the peyote bird, rich with history and lore. I like this squash blossom necklace! The chip inlay is greenish blue, the sterling has a nice dark patina, the birds are strong and bold, together they look lovely! This necklace is 115 grams, 26 inches long, the birds are 2 1/4 x 1 1/8 inches long and wide. The beads are about 7.5 mm, nice and smooth, strung on a square sterling chain. No hallmarks that I can find. Very much a 1970s look. Native American, probably Navajo. Condition: very good, while it has a lot of patina, the necklace over all is in very good condition.
