This listing features a vintage handcrafted Navajo cuff bracelet made of sterling silver, turquoise, and coral. This vintage Navajo cuff features a classic display of 5 alternating turquoise and coral stones lined over a sturdy double carinated shank. The five stones are securely bezeled over a thick bed of silver and lined with classic twisted rope. Large hand poured droplets follow, nestled between each stone, along the top of the carinated shanks. The stones have a satin polished finish, while portraying rich color qualities of bright blue with subtle pyrite matrixes and deep oxblood red. The carinated shanks are very thick and sturdy giving the bracelet a hearty weight of nearly 80 grams. There is absolutely no give at the ends so this cuff can not be adjusted. Please read measurements and know your wrist size before purchasing. When worn on the correct sized wrist, it’s a pleasingly comfortable piece. This a very well made Navajo piece, great for today’s trending vintage styles…… Will be a wonderful addition to any existing collection of fine Native American jewelry…. Cherish and enjoy this cuff before handing it down to a loved one in the future. Weight – 79 Grams. Inside End to End Measurement – 5-5/8. Gap – 1-3/8 NOT ADJUSTABLE. Total Inside Measurement Including Gap – 7″ Cuff should fit a wrist between 6-1/2″ and 6-7/8 comfortably. If wrist is larger than 7 the cuff will be too small. Face & Shank Measurements – At front center the cuff has a width just under 1″ (15/16″). The width slowly tapers along each side until reaching the ends where it measures 1/2 wide. The 2 shanks measure 1/4″ wide each and have a thickness of over 1/8″. When measuring the shanks, bezels, and stones together, the cuff sits on top of the wrist at 3/8 high. Stone Measurements – The center coral measures just under 3/4″ long by 7/16″ wide. The 2 turquoise stones measure over 1/2″ long by 3/8″ wide. The 2 end corals measure 1/2″ long by 3/8″ wide. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. Signed by Artist – YES, Stamped with initials JN inside a bear paw. Later-Mid Century, 1970’s+. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stones and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
