Fantastic Vintage Fred Harvey Era Native American Sterling Silver bracelet. It features 3 applied snakes with turquoise stones set in a plain bezel. An abundance of stamp-work fills the band. This piece is unique, highly detailed and beautiful! Inner circumference of bracelet: 5 1/2. Gap opening: 1 1/4. Fully inner circumference of bracelet gap size included: 6 3/4. This listing features a large Navajo hand made cuff bracelet. This cuff is made up of a solid sterling silver, triple shank cuff, two sterling silver leaf appliqués on each side of the cuff face, and a large sterling silver plate filled with silver raindrops and 9 matching turquoise stones, set in saw tooth bezels. The 3 center stones are arranged in a straight line over the face of the cuff with 3 smaller stones placed on each side of the larger stones. The artist did a great job of making the design as symmetrical as possible. The stones have a beautiful green hue with spiderweb matrix and natural veining. The stones are all natural with no stabilization. A great piece to add to an existing collection or the perfect one to start a new one. Cherish and enjoy now… Hand down to loved one in the future. Tan Leather Belt is 38.5″ long and has several holes punched in it from about 28.5″ to 32. It may be modified to accommodate a larger waist of up to about 35 without replacing the Leather Strap. 234.0 grams = 7.52 Troy ounces Total Weight. Metal weight is about 6+ Troy ounces. The Harry Morgan Traditional Revival Concho Belt with 69 Gemstones. When you combine the “Classic Revival” stamping, repousse, 69 Gemstones, and famous “Old Pawn” finish of Harry Morgan, it pretty much has everything you might want in an old Harry Morgan Concho Belt. It is in Very Good condition and there are no issues in the Sterling Silver to report on. The Belt is representative of the work of a master in the history of Native Jewelry. The reverse of the buckle is stamp signed with the correct H. MORGAN Hallmark as you can see in the pictures. It is also stamped “Sterling”, and it is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and authentic. I’ve seen and own quite a few Morgan buckles and this Concho Belt seems to have most of the elements that collectors of Harry Morgan’s jewelry want. The wonderful “Revival” design that Morgan introduced to contemporary style and the masterful stamp work that is both crisp and sublime. This is a truly remarkable Navajo Sterling Silver Concho Belt made by an artist that has excited the Indian Jewelry community for years. Harry Morgan passed away in 2007. As you may know, his stamp work is in demand. The the energy, skill, and precision needed to create a successful piece of jewelry is substantial. Harry Morgan was a master of this and is primarily responsible for the “Classic Revival Style” in Navajo silver work. He has many imitators and followers… But he remains the “Best” of them! There was some additional notoriety involved for him when his work was featured in the Robert Redford movie “The Horse Whisperers”. He has won many awards since and his work is always met with great enthusiasm by discriminating collectors. His work is in the collection of The Peabody Museum at Harvard University and also in many private collections. He is referenced in the major Native American Jewelry books including “American Indian Jewelry I” by Gregory Schaaf p.
